Auditions set for 'Sunshine Boys'
Our next show is the Neil Simon comedy,"The Sunshine Boys," on stage at the Williams Civic Center the last two weekends in March.
The script calls for a cast of five men and two women. The 1975 movie starred Walter Matthau and George Burns in the title roles.
The Board of Directors appointed Kyle Deal to direct the show. He set audition dates for Jan. 27 and 28 (a Wednesday and Thursday) for auditions. Those will be held at the Williams Civic Center at 7 p.m.

Auditions
We stage three shows each year: one in the spring, one in the summer and one in the fall.
Our spring show is usually on stage around the end of March. We typically cast the show in January. Our summer show, a musical, is staged the last weekend in July and the first weekend in August. We try to cast the show around the end of May or the first of June, depending on the calendar, when holidays fall and so on. Our fall show is staged the first two weekends in November and we cast around the first of September.
Watch this site and our local media partners (The Cameron Herald, The Rockdale Reporter, The Temple Daily Telegram and radio stations KMIL and KRXT) for specific details on auditions for upcoming shows.
