Membership

Milam Community Theater’s 2010 Season is exciting and we’re ready to get started! We’ve got a great lineup of shows for you and some new and much more flexible membership options.

We will hold a Membership Reception during Opening Night of "On Golden Pond," Saturday, Nov. 7 beginning at 7 p.m. If you like, you may pay for your 2010 membership then, or at any performance of any show.

Here are some of the features to your Membership:
• All Membership levels include our Members-only Gala in February and Voting Membership in our non-profit corporation.
• All show tickets are good for any show in 2010. So, if you decide you don’t want to attend a particular show — or, you miss one — your remaining tickets are still good! You can even give some tickets to a friend!
• All Members may buy as many additional tickets as they like for $10 each, before Dec. 31, 2009, and for $12 each at the door. These additional tickets are good for any 2010 show except the Dinner Theater performance in April and the Opening Night Reception in November.

Annual Gala & General Membership Meeting:

The annual Gala & General Membership Meeting is February 13, 2010 and is open to all Voting Members.

The Gala is a black-tie optional, catered dinner with a live, usually somewhat improvisational performance produced by members of our acting troupe. Members do not pay extra for the Gala. It is included in the dues, which are part of any level of membership. Reservations to the Gala are required because the caterers need a head count.

The General Membership meeting will be held about an hour before the Gala and is open to all Members. No reservations are necessary to attend the General Membership meeting.

Only Voting Members will be allowed to attend; however, Voting Membership dues are only $25 ($20, if purchased before Dec. 31), about the same as we’ve charged in the past for a guest to attend the gala.

Dinner Theater:
The Dinner Theater is held opening night for our Spring Show, March 20, 2010. Members will have the chance to make reservations before tickets go on sale to the general public. As in past years, there is an additional $15 charge to Members to help cover the cost of the food served at the Dinner Theater (note: the additional charge for the Dinner Theater is included in the Night on the Town and Family Membership packages).

Opening Night Reception:
Your Voting Membership Card and a show ticket gets you into this wonderful event, held opening night of our Fall Show (Nov. 6, 2010). No reservations are necessary.

 

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS:

Voting Membership $20
This is a Membership only. It includes the members-only Gala and a vote at the General Membership Meeting in February but does not include show tickets. Voting Members may purchase as many tickets as they like for $10 each before Dec. 31, 2007 or $12 each at the door with a Voting Membership Card.

Student Membership $10
Same as above. Student Members may purchase as many tickets as they would like for $10 each prior to Dec. 31, 2008. In addition, Students may purchase one ticket for $10 and additional tickets for $12 each at the door with their Student Membership Card.

Individual Membership $50
This is our most common membership level. Tickets are good for any 2010 show. It includes a Voting Membership (above) and three show tickets. A $100 value!

Couples Membership $100
This level of membership includes two Voting Memberships and six tickets good for any 2010 show. A $200 value!

Night on the Town $130
This level takes advantage of all our events. It includes two Voting Memberships, two confirmed reservations to the March 20 Dinner Theater, two tickets to the Opening Night Reception in November and two tickets to the Summer show. A $230 value!

Family Membership ~ Our Best Value!! ~ $175
Another new level, this one for families. It includes two Voting Memberships, two Dinner Theater reservations, two tickets to the Opening Night Reception and 8 tickets to any 2010 show except the Dinner Theater performance in March and the Opening Night Reception in November. A $330 value!

All prices are good through Dec. 31, 2009. After that, Voting Membership dues are $25, Individual Memberships are $60 and additional tickets are $12 each at the door.
